Coach Lucas Apgar: Middle School Head Coach

Coach Apgar is entering his forth year as a middle school coach. He is a 1993 graduate of

Parkland High School. While at Parkland, Coach Apgar played baseball and was a two year

letterman for the varsity football team. After graduation, he spent five years helping coach youth

football teams in the Parkland area. Coach Apgar coached football at Kutztown High School for

two years and at Fleetwood High School for six years. He has long been employed by South

Whitehall Township. He currently resides in Topton with his wife Kristin, daughter Emersen, and

son James.

Coach Josh Loupisakis: Wide Receivers and Outside Linebackers Coach

Josh is entering his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Emmaus Middle School team. Coach

Loupassakis attended Emmaus High School from 2019-2022. He also played football all four years

of high school and was the starting left tackle his senior year. Coach Loupassakis attends Kutztown

University where he is an education major.

Coach Johnnie Williams: Running Backs and Secondary Coach

Johnnie Williams will be returning to the Emmaus football program this year, and is going on his 11th year as a middle school football coach. He has served as offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, as well as defensive back, running backs and defensive line coach. Growing up, he was a multi-sport athlete at Cardinal Dougherty High School. He played football, basketball and track & field. Though he loves all sports, football has always been his passion, as he played running back, defensive back and linebacker at Cardinal Dougherty. After graduation, he went on to attend Wesley College in Dover, DE where he played running back and majored in business. Johnnie was married to Megan Williams (deceased) and they have five boys together - Johnnie III, Marcel, Josiah, Isaiah, and Elijah. He has coached youth basketball for many years and enjoys attending church, coaching local youth sports, spending time with family and friends.

Coach Adam Selmasska: Assistant Coach

Adam Selmasska is in his first year as a volunteer coach for the 7th/8th grade program after coaching his sons Evan and Jacob for 5+ years in several sports for Lower Macungie Youth Association and 1 year as assistant coach in the Emmaus Football Youth program. Adam played football at Easton Area High School under legendary Coach Steve Shiffert and then for 4 years at Lehigh University. 

Coach Bradley Rutz: Assistant Coach

Bradley A. Rutz is an accomplished, driven, self-disciplined, loyal, positive, kind, and guided by integrity. Coach Rutz has dedicated his career to developing young people both on and off the football field. With more than 18 years of mentoring and coaching experience, he is passionate about building character, fostering accountability, and helping student-athletes reach their full potential.


Coach Rutz began his career mentoring youth in challenging environments, serving with the Loysville Secure Treatment Unit through the Pennsylvania Bureau of Juvenile Justice Services and Camp Adams with the Youth Services Agency of Pennsylvania. These experiences strengthened his commitment to positively impacting young lives through leadership, discipline, and mentorship.


Over the past 12 years, Coach Rutz has coached football at both the middle school and high school levels. his coaching journey has included assisant coaching positions at Northwestern Lehigh, Parkland, Allentown Central Catholic, Bethlehem Catholic, and Louis E. Dieruff. He also served as the Junior Varsity Head Coach at Northern Lehigh High School, where he guided the Bulldogs to a 10-6 record while earning victories over several larger 3A, 4A and 5A programs.


Coach Rutz is entering his second season with the Emmaus Football Program, where he is honored to serve and remains fully committed to the continued growth and success of the program. He takes great pride in representing Emmaus and is dedicated to fostering a culture built on hard work, accountability, discipline and team work.
